The University Of Texas School Of Biomedical Informatics at Houston (SBMI) is partnering with The University of Texas at El Paso (¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ) to offer ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ MBA students a Certificate of Business Informatics for Healthcare. This partnership offers ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ MBA students the unique opportunity to find career advancement in the blossoming healthcare informatics industry.

Curriculum Designed for Informatics
The Certificate of Business Informatics for Healthcare program includes two designated MBA core courses plus three SBMI concentration courses:
- HI 5300: Introduction to Health Informatics
- HI 5301: The US Healthcare System
- HI 5313: Introduction to Electronic Health Records
The SBMI courses can be taken online, at your convenience and are instructed by faculty members who are thought leaders in the field of informatics.
