Dual Degree MPA/MBA
Students may also pursue the dual-degree MBA-MPA program, which consists of 54 semester credit hours (SCH) of graduate study. This program is designed for individuals with broad interests in both the public and private sectors, offering integrated training in business administration and public affairs. Given the increasing interdependence between these sectors, the MBA-MPA degree is particularly well-suited for those aspiring to roles that require coordination across public and private organizations. Applicants must indicate their intention to pursue the dual-degree option at the time of application to the Graduate School. Prospective students should consult with both the Graduate Advisor in the Woody L. Hunt College of Business and the Director of the MPA Program regarding admission requirements, course planning, approved electives, and procedures for advancing to candidacy.
