HIIT stands for High Impact and Innovative Teaching, a conference dedicated to celebrating the ways faculty, staff, and students are reshaping the future of education. This year, HIIT brings the ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ community together to showcase bold ideas, creative practices, and meaningful changes that make a lasting difference in teaching and learning. It recognizes the work happening in classrooms, offices, and collaborative spaces across campus that pushes us to think differently, solve problems creatively, and keep student success at the center of innovation.
The 2025 conference theme, Invention, Innovation, and Impact, challenges us to reflect on why we choose to innovate and what changes those innovations can bring. From experimenting with new technologies to rethinking traditional assignments, from streamlining processes to building cross-departmental partnerships, HIIT is a space where these stories and strategies come to life.
Over three days, the HIIT Conference will highlight the creativity and expertise of our campus community. You can expect fast-paced Lightning Talks that spark new ideas, hands-on workshops that encourage active problem-solving, and roundtable discussions that invite deeper conversations across disciplines. Beyond the sessions, HIIT also offers networking opportunities where faculty, staff, and students can connect, share insights, and build collaborations that extend beyond the conference itself.
