Senior Faculty Member and Nationally Recognized Expert in Community Engaged Research and Scholarship
The University of Texas at El Paso is excited to announce a tenured position at the rank of full professor in community engaged research and scholarship. This senior-level position is envisioned to lead the institution's efforts to advance scholarship on community participation, participatory processes, community development, or related methods in order to address pressing societal issues such as health, environment, education, energy, and economic wellbeing. Candidates should possess a distinguished record of community-engaged scholarship, leadership, and successful funding that qualify for a tenured position at the rank of full professor. The successful candidate will engage in collaborative research within their department and across campus, provide faculty mentoring and development in community-engaged research, support junior faculty in building their own community-engaged research agendas, and promote best practices for integrating community-based perspectives into scholarly work.
