¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) manages ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s intellectual property and facilitates the transfer of technologies into commercial products.
We work closely with ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ innovators to identify and evaluate patentable inventions, develop patent prosecution strategies for complex portfolios of inventions.
Through our marketing campaigns and outreach programs, we identify potential licensees and start-up opportunities to promote ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ intellectual property to industry.
We draft, negotiate, and manage all commercialization agreements surrounding ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ intellectual property, including confidentiality agreements, options, license agreements, and collaboration agreements.
We provide educational resources to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ faculty and student innovators, assist start-ups with new company formation and businesses plan development, and provide fundraising and resource matching activities.
