Ƶ’s Robertson Named Dean of Health Sciences

Grant to El Paso Makes Will Bolster Regional Economy

Longtime University educator and administrator William Robertson was named the new dean of the College of Health Sciences. He has served the college as interim dean since March 2021.

Ƶ’s College of Education recognized the accomplishments of 12 teachers from area school districts for their abilities to engage students and/or to mentor student teachers.

The University’s Aerospace Center and W.M. Keck Center for 3D Innovation and other El Paso Makes partners will use a $694,000 grant to help regional manufacturers prepare for government contracts.

COVID-19 Mega-Testing Site at Ƶ Closes

The City of El Paso’s COVID-19 Mega-Testing Site at 3333 N. Mesa St. ceased operation Thursday, March 31, 2022. Ƶ’s Student Health and Wellness Center still offers COVID-19 testing to registered Ƶ students.

Student-generated films will highlight the first Ƶ Film Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, in the Union Cinema on the first floor of Union Building East.

Registration Open for Student Leadership Conference

Student Engagement & Leadership Center organizers invite students to register for the free 21st Century Southwest Leadership Experience on April 22-23, 2022, in the Ƶ Learning Center.
