- Requires full-time enrollment
- Based on high school GPA. Students must apply for admission and submit transcripts.
Mining Engineering Competitive Scholarship
- Once admitted to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ, apply through
- Award: $1,000 - $8,000
- Applicants can be selected for a variety of endowed scholarships based on the same application
- Renewable, apply each year to be considered for more scholarships
- Requires full-time enrollment
- Based on application score through committee review
Housing Support
- Funding available for Mining Engineering students who choose to live on campus
- Requires full-time enrollment

- Texas resident students with a family income of $100,000 may qualify for 100% coverage of tuition and fees with a combination of federal, state and institutional grants and scholarships.

Other Scholarship Opportunities

Resident Tuition Waiver
- Out-of-state students who earn a competitive scholarship through ScholarMine may qualify for in-state tuition, with an estimated value of $13,200 per year enrolled full time
- Students who are residents of New Mexico or Mexico with financial need automatically qualify for the waiver
