2025 TRB Annual Meeting
CTIS PhD Student's attend 2025 TRB Annual Meeting
Proudly showcasing the impactful research presented by CTIS PhD students at the 2025 TRB Annual Meeting!
The 2025 Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting featured valuable research contributions from CTIS PhD students Reza Kamalizadeh, Pedram Balooch Sirgani, Parastoo Bahri Iraei, Suhail Rashid Vaid, Farzad Khallaghi, Dasina Francis, Isaac Zuñiga and Hector Cruz, who presented their work through informative lectern and poster sessions. Their research covered important areas in transportation engineering, from continuous structural pavement evaluation to the integration of wireless power transfer systems in pavements. The presentations also addressed studies on asphalt mixture performance, including the effects of laboratory-molded density design, field sand content, binder grade, and hydrated lime on stripping potential, as well as sustainable practices through full-depth reclamation with engineered emulsions. These researchers contributed to advancing our understanding of sustainable transportation infrastructure through their dedicated work and research findings.
