Alondra Gonzalez, a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Apple, successfully secured her dream role through a dedicated journey of persistence after graduating with her Computer Science degree. Her success was built on finding community and mentorship at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ, particularly through active involvement in Girls Who Code and guidance from Dr. Mejia. She gained essential professional experience through key internships, including a valuable role with McDonald's Tech Division for mobile app development. In her role at Apple, which aligns with software engineering, she is focused on backend development and internal security tools. Alondra encourages future engineers to push beyond their comfort zone and embrace consistency and resilience on their unique path to success.

Maximiliano Uribe, a Software Engineer I at Microsoft specializing in Cloud and AI, converted three consecutive strategic internships into a full-time career after graduating with his Computer Science degree. His professional path was accelerated by the Microsoft Explore Program and the Google Tech Exchange, highlighting the value of seeking out opportunities and peer mentorship. He was a dedicated leader as Vice President of the Coding Interview Club, where he collaborated with other organizations to prepare students for the industry. At Microsoft, his work focuses on projects related to Kubernetes and AI, and he is excited about the growing influence of AI in cloud computing. Maximiliano advises students to practice consistently and build a strong professional network, emphasizing that preparation meets opportunity to create success.

Aldo Sanchez, a Software Engineer at Google, showcased extraordinary strategic excellence by completing his degree in two years and receiving nine internship offers, crediting his "massive" engagement in ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ's Computer Science extracurriculars. As President of the Coding Interview Club, he fostered a collaborative community that encouraged peer success. His strategic approach to conferences, including GMIS, consistently led to job offers, highlighting the power of focused preparation. In his role at Google, his work focuses on the cloud storage mobile client, developing comprehensive testing strategies and improving user experience. Aldo advises aspiring students to find a strong community, actively engage in clubs, and approach career opportunities with intensity and focus.

Susana Perez, a Software Engineer at Bloomberg, embodies resilience, leveraging her academic foundation and community leadership to build a successful career in financial technology. Her professional journey began with strong encouragement and mentorship, which led to a successful Google STEP internship and a career-defining in-person internship at Meta. At ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ, she was a pillar of leadership, serving as Vice President of the Coding Interview Club and actively participating in CAHSI to build supportive and inclusive spaces for engineers. In her current role, she develops software solutions for financial data and analytics platforms, contributing her unique perspective to foster collaboration and inclusivity. Susana advises future engineers to believe in themselves, embrace challenges, and find a community that inspires and challenges them.
