Hunt Business Champions: A New Way to Give Back
The Big Picture
The Woody L. Hunt College of Business is launching Hunt Business Champions — a new structure for alumni and industry professionals to visit campus as speakers, mentors, and guides.
Why It Matters
A single conversation can change a student’s trajectory. Hearing directly from professionals who’ve navigated career pivots, industry challenges, and leadership decisions provides perspective textbooks can’t replicate.
What It Involves
Hunt Business Champions may:
- Lead workshops or panels
- Share lessons from their industries and experiences
- Discuss skills, setbacks, and career milestones
Get Involved
Professionals interested in participating are invited to complete a short interest form with a brief bio, topic areas, and preferred engagement formats.
The program welcomes both alumni and industry partners. Colleagues may also be nominated.
What They’re Saying
Cynthia Perales, Director of Corporate and Alumni Partnerships:
“This initiative formalizes what’s long been part of our college culture: Professionals coming back to guide, mentor, and open doors for the next generation. Hunt Business Champions gives that tradition a clear structure and room to grow.”
