Hunt College of Business Awarded Risk Manager on Campus Grant

The Big Picture:
The Woody L. Hunt College of Business at ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ has been awarded a Risk Manager on Campus (RMOC) Grant from the Spencer Educational Foundation. The $5,000 grant will support a campus visit by a practicing risk management professional during Fall 2026.
Why It Matters:
The RMOC program provides students with direct exposure to current industry practice. Through structured on-campus engagement, students gain insight into career paths in risk management and insurance that complement their academic coursework.
Between the Lines:
The Spencer Educational Foundation supports the risk management and insurance field through scholarships, experiential learning grants, and curriculum development. The RMOC program is intended to strengthen connections between academic programs and the profession.
What’s Next:
The Risk Management Academy will host the visiting Risk Manager for a series of student-focused sessions in Fall 2026, expanding industry engagement opportunities for Hunt College of Business students.
