What Happened: Students from the Hunt Business Banking Academy visited the corporate offices of GECU for an immersive, behind-the-scenes look at career opportunities in financial services. 

The visit featured department tours, conversations with professionals across the organization, and an inside look at how cross-functional teams collaborate to support day-to-day operations. 

Why It Matters: The experience offered students a real-world glimpse into the structure and culture of a financial institution, while reinforcing the career possibilities available in banking and credit unions. It also created valuable opportunities for professional networking and mentorship. 

Inside the Experience: 

• A speed-networking lunch gave students a relaxed environment to engage with GECU executives. 

• The Human Resources team led a career development session with practical tips on resume writing and interview preparation. 

• Students asked questions about career growth, internal collaboration, and how credit unions support community development.
